You'll need to either find a MUX2 to tinker with (I
suggest BrazilMUX) or download/compile/start up a local
test copy.
MUX2 descriptions are compartmentalized as opposed to
MUX2's, which is encompassed by @desc. This is very
inconvenient in the case of 99.9% of the BTMux room
parents, which assume the children rooms are set DARK.
This prevents the Contents: and Exits: sections from
showing, so @desc overtakes everything. We have to
manually add a Contents/Exits section via @desc since
the default ones are ugly and don't work with rooms
like repair bays (or at least sanely). We set the
children dark so we can create pretty custom
contents/exit displays for repair bays and other such
rooms.
MUX2 does this much better. We have a @desc,
@conformat, and @exitformat. @desc acts as normal, but
we can set what appears in the Contents: and Exits:
portions of the rooms rather than having to set them
DARK and creating Contents/Exits in the DESC attribute.
With MUX2's @conformat and @exitformat, we don't need
to set the room DARK to replace the ugly Contents/Exits
sections, we can just change them completely.
If this is confusing to you, download BTMiaB and look
at the room parent. Get in touch with me if you need
further elaboration.

Extra little note. If no @conformat or @exitformat are
provided, just assume the default behavior, IE: make it
appear just like it does now.
