I'd rather it remain lean than get bloated just to support that feature. I thought there might be some easy way to support it assuming there was already a bootrom on the network card, but perhaps not. Possibly the easiest way to do this would be to have a small partition with an etherboot image on it. It might even be doable without a seperate partition by using lilo to boot an etherboot image, and using the "push keys into buffer" option to make lilo choose linux or etherboot for different menu options. BTW, how are you finding sourceforge as a developer? As a user I find it great. I notice that you have an old mailing list as well as the sourceforge one.
