#11 cd-rom boot error "0xAA"
Hi
I have a porblem with my laptop, I have a mathushita uj845s drive and i flash the original firmware 1.00 by acer with one update 1.02 but for toshiba oem and now it work well but I cant use the boot from cd because the multiboot option in the bios dont show me this possibility.
So I try a lot of thing for boot from internal drive and I try also this very nice utility.
I'm a linux user and with no cd boot its difficult for me, but with sbm when i try to boot cd-rom i received this error, with or without bootcd inserted ; error 0xAA.
I want only know if also with this firmware problem is possible to make sbm functionally? there is some feature or option in the program that can resolve this problem or is an hardware problem that software can't pass?
Or this is a bug of program or incompatibility with new hardware?

I have the same problem. Trying to boot Ubuntu Live CD on a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300.
