You'd need to have one serial number for every map the server knows (of course the server should have an own ID-Space...) If the map changes, this is still the same map and I have to explore it again (the client will for example show fields which are older than some timestamp in some color as an option). What information does this one ID per map give, other than you can figure out on what map you are? When does this give an advantage? Perhaps I understood you wrong... then I'm sorry ;-) But I would be very happy if you could clearify this to me... Thanks in advance, Manuel |
