I have friends who tell me they have messaged me but I do not receive their messages. When I debug it in the code it appears to involve being sent charcters in a double byte representation. I'm afriad I do not have a good example of how to reproduce. usually it involves a cut and paste from a web page with umlaut charcters or hyphens.
I believe it has something to do with the character set I specify somewhere in the code. In the past, I have successfully used it with ISO-8859 characters, but have not played with Unicode or other multibyte systems. I'll take a look.
