#2 Plugin makes IDE get very slow for larger files

I'm seeing an IDE issue due to ooRexx plugin syntax parsing: when working on a larger source file, changes become extremely slow due to re-parsing. Try e. g. incubator/regex/regex.cls (~6000 lines ooRexx code), duplicate a line 5 times and then undo the changes, by pressing 5 times Ctrl+D and 5 times Ctrl+Z. The IDE will become unresponsive for a minute or more.
The issue doesn't surface if you do the same in a plain text file.

(I'm on the most recent version, IntelliJ IDEA 2016.3.5)
