Hi there, As a newbie I am trying to install brutalchess using Mandriva
Spring. I have SDL_image installed but after ./configure brutalchess runs
until the following message appears
checking for IceConnectionNumber in -lICE... yes
checking for OpenGL... yes
checking GL/glx.h usability... no
checking GL/glx.h presence... no
checking for GL/glx.h... no
checking for sdl-config... /usr/bin/sdl-config
checking for SDL - version >= 1.2.7... yes
checking for freetype-config... /usr/bin/freetype-config
checking for FreeType -- version >= 7.0.1... yes
checking for IMG_Load in -lSDL_image... no
configure: error: *** SDL_image library not found!
[root@localhost brutalchess-0.5.2]# urpmi -lSDL-image
This confirms the difficulties with libraries mentioned in the help files. Any
help would be appreciated. I hope I have given enough information for it all to
make sense, Thank you
