if we cursor into a slot in an input we should be able to insert text from there. but this is not preserved.

this worked previously. i think because now we switch to sync value in order to support more IMEs.

there may be a way to make it work. don't know. hopefully it is easy! :) ;p xx ;p now ideas now tho.
