- test DPR scale up of imagery (how does this interact with canvas?). This would be a Retina or "super resolution mode". It would be more costly in terms of bandwidth, but some clients may desire that.
- test doing scale up either for DPR or for scaling up min agreed viewport to max client dimensions respecting viewport aspect ratio, or both, using screencast max dimensions

We could even probably get "acceptable" perceptually better results for clients looking for enhanced resolutions using a fractional DPR scale up.
