Is it possible to host this on a windows machine or do I have to rely on wsl (I don't want to have to).
I saw the open issue about using node x64 and git bash but is that really necessary, is there any alternative projects that are installable on windows?

I totally agree with you @ohitstom
I also don't want to rely on WSL, nor do I wish to rely on git bash. I want it to be installable on regular windows for non technical folks.
I Want it to work native in PS1. You can see I've been making progress towards windows install in
deploy-scripts/
andscripts/
dirs with.ps1
files.Would you be interested in helping me? You could help review the PowerShell files, test the install on your machine, and even make PRs if you want to.
It would really help!

Sounds fun! I'd be happy to help where I can, do you have a discord I can contact you on to talk more or anything similar?

No discord, sorry. I couldn't figure out how to set one up 😆 then I saw some cons to it. What other alts are there? LinkedIn? Other chat apps? Signal? Reach out to us on signal if you have it: +1 (503) 917-3547

fair enough! I've just never collaborated on GitHub alone but I'm sure it'll be fine
Is there an open pr for this PS1 plan or another branch?

I'll have a look when I get home tonight, hopeful for a future on windows

@ohitstom good on you! I'm also hopeful for that. I think Windows is a really important platform to get it working on.

had a quick look since I've been quite busy today, seems like a lot of swapping out linux syntax where necessary (fun), not had a chance to run them yet though hopefully this weekend 🤞🏻

No worries, man! No expectations, you got plenty of other things to do, I totally understand if you can never get to it @ohitstom just thanks for taking a look this far! 🥹

If anyone does end up working on this, just know that we will be angling for a scoop/winget release that fully sets it up, too. Basically people should be able to either clone and install on windows, or use scoop / choco or winget.
