I have the above mentioned device and it seems to have a different Product ID:

    P:  Vendor=04f9 ProdID=013f Rev= 1.00
    S:  SerialNumber=BROK3P357343

    I:  If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=07(print) Sub=01 Prot=02 Driver=usblp
    I:  If#= 1 Alt= 0 #EPs= 3 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=(none)
    I:  If#= 2 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=(none)
    I:  If#= 3 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=08(stor.) Sub=06 Prot=50 Driver=usb-storage

I have already changed the ID in my brother.c file, but sane-find-scanner still can't see the scanner. I guess it has something to do with 'Cls=ff', but that's where my knowledge ends.

    Any ideas?

    Danilo

You may want to check out the Brother linux web page.  They seem to have some printer and scanner drivers there.  Here's the link.

Let me know how it goes..  I have not tried out there stuff yet.
