In mesa version 6 (used: 6.4.1) a shader is present;
this can be used by the Cg examples even when no GPU
hardware is present.
I would have expected brook (used: 0.4) to follow this
behavior, but brook and the ogl target seems to need
either NV or ATI real hardware. This hinders my
evaluation of brook and its concepts.
This for Linux Mandrake 9.2, with XFree 4.3.0
