Hello,

I've successfully installed BRLCAD on my SuSE linux 9.2
system. I'm having a problem when following the manual
for defining a new mged model. When I've specified OGL
as the display manager, the command seems to be
accepted, only I'm not seeing anything on my screen.
According to the manual included in the package, I
should see something like a black screen where the
model can be shown. My question is why, why am I not
shown anything. I'm not getting an error message either...

Many thanks in advance,

Nils

I like support requests that resolve themselves, though I'd be curious to
know what the problem was. ;-)

As an aside, if you happen to be on a system that does not have OpenGL
capabilities, you can either run "mged -n" or perhaps "mged -c" selecting
either X or none for the display type to get "classic" mged to run.
