    Hey y'all,

I'm trying to use the BRL-CAD on mac for stl-g conversion.
    I've tried typing in:
stl-g FILE FILE (replacing the FILE with the whole path).
I get an error code for invalid command.
Does anyone know the proper use of stl-g? Do I need a plugin?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Daniel,

Since you're on a Mac, you'll need to explain where you're trying to run that command. You certainly don't need a plugin, but stl-g is a command-line tool run in Terminal. If you compiled from a source distribution, the application will be in your build and/or installation 'bin' directory. If you used the DMG and did the drag-n-drop installation of MGED, you'll need to open up Terminal and run stl-g from within the application bundle.

Something like this will work for the latter if, for example, you installed into /Applications (you'd copy-paste this into Terminal):

    /Applications/BRL-CAD\ \:\ MGED\

    Hope that helps.
