Two issues on g-stl and g-vrml (on Windows):
* most of the time, a crash occurs during conversion.
* primitives that consist of BOT surfaces are not being converted.
Hopefully these issues will be addressed in a future release.

When you say "BOT surfaces" do you mean plate-mode BOTs?
To be honest: I don't know if I'm using the right terminology (I'm not really into 3D formats and modelling). Our modellers use autocad to model 3D faces. Those are converted to ARB6 primitives with our own dxf2g conversion tool.
Hmmm, so are they BOTs or ARB6's that are failing to export? :-) No need for you to be an expert on the geometry (that's our job), but we do have to figure out what you have first. A bit of sample geometry (even just one or two faces) would help sort out what's going on.
Run these in mged:
get name_of_bot mode
get name_of_bot orient
Should report something like 'volume' or 'surf' or 'plate', orient should report 'no', 'lh', or 'rh'.
