#351 ray tracing artifacts on non-surface points

There are some odd single pixel artifacts (cracks/lines) present when ray tracing the attached geometry file's bar.r region. Make particular note of the face where the particle/tgc protrude. This seems to be along tanget lines for primitives not on the surface of the object.

    The issue (for those wondering) is not actually the obvious cylindar sticking up through the arb surface but the dark spotted circular lines and the gray straight line that seem to correspond to tangent hits.

    Checking previous versions of BRL-CAD, we seem to have similar edge artifacts (hard to say they're exact without the exact az/el, but the shapes and patterns are similar) back at least as far as 7.14.8.

    I am able to reproduce this
    I imported the ASCII file and drew the bar.r then raytraced it, when i changed the angle and raytraced it again I was able to see the odd pixels making a circle.I have attached the rendered image.
