hello,
I am trying to compile both 1.0.1 b35 and from the SVN repository and both fail with the same errors, here are the last few lines of the output from make

Linking nbc
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lusb
Error: Error while linking
Fatal: There were 1 errors compiling module, stopping
Fatal: Compilation aborted
Error: /usr/bin/ppcx64 returned an error exitcode (normal if you did not specify a source file to be compiled)
make: *** [nbc] Error 1

You need libusb development files. On Ubuntu, type:
    sudo aptitude install libusb-dev

In order to compile on Linux you need to have libusb 0.1 installed.
