#3 Part grouping

Once important feature that is still missing is an option to group/ungroup selected parts. Groups of parts should be displayed in File Contents panel. This way it would be much easier to draw larger projects in Bricksmith.

How does this differ from using submodels? Groups of parts can be added as new models - which appear in the File Contents drawer - and such models can be inserted via the Model->Insert Reference menu wherever you wish to use that group of parts.

Within a model steps help provide some organization, too.

By shift-clicking multiple parts in the File Contents drawer or in a 3D view you can select them all to move, rotate, or copy them as a group.
