User Reviews

  • I know the last review was posted time ago but i'd like to say that I updated the code so the program now can handle windows, macosx and linux. But basically the code was not for final users who don't know how to compile it or read the code. I uploaded it for anyone who is interested in how to emulate a system. If you want a "superb" program, do not download an alpha project even less if is an emulator for chip-8
  • I wonder about 1 little detail: Why do 99.9% of the hard job of coding what I assume to be a superb emulator and releasing it without compiling it? Why deliberately limiting its spread and use by only providing the source code? Is it not counterproductive on a development point of view? I would like to beta test it, but I can't because I'm not a programmer and I don't have a compile environment installed on my PC. It's not like there are 56792 different platform to support. There are only 3 major: Windows, Mac and Linux. May I suggest to at least provide a Window compiled version since it statistically represent the vast majority of users? Regards, Ramon
