BrainFX 2.3.0 is released. The version number was kept in sync with that of CamBA (http://sourceforge.net/projects/camba).

From this version onwards, the "tests" files will be part of the main download

Since CamBA 2.2.0 uses exactly the same brainFX library as brainFX 2.1.0, there will be no BrainFX 2.2.0 release simply for the sake of syncrhonizing the version, instead, release 2.1.1 will be relabelled release 2.2.0/2.1.1

This version of BrainFX contains a slightly more advanced version of BrainFX used in CamBA 2.1.0

The difference here is the introduction of BrainFX's implementation of NifTI. They consists of two parts: a pure Java implementation (with no Eclipse dependency) in Eclipse plugin package org.brainfx.nifti.*, and a budding SWT UI for NifTI header data manipulation.

The CamBA Nifti Library, i.e., org.brainfx.nifti.* is released under the General Public License v 3.0 or later, with the standard classpath exception.... read more

This new release for BrainFX is mainly a rework of the plugins organization for Eclipse 3.1. The rework focus on changing BrainFX is to a "collection of plugins where developer pick-and-mix plugins", rather than a monolithic one where developer is expected to use all the plugins.

This release also contain an Eclipse Plugin for NiftiClib (http://sourceforge.net/projects/niftilib). As with the original nifticlib, this plugin is placed in the public domain.... read more
