Hi,

I think the reasonable algorithm for authentication is,
if there is 'passwd' file under
~/.brag/<server>/passwd, then use it for user name and
password.

Requiring an extra '-l user' from the command line is
not necessary, and can cause trouble when switching
server by NNTPSERVER environment variable.

I'll try go ahead to make the patch for above suggest myself
(against your latest v1.40 of course), and submit a patch
