Actually, all you need to do is install the package mpich-1.2.5.2-3, for which the .src.rpm is included in the cm5 distribution. Just recompile the mpich-1.2.5.2-3.src.rpm on your system, and install it. The only trick afterwards is that you MUST use the /usr/bin/mpirun that is part of the cmtools package, which seems not to be in the cm5 distribution. cmtools-1.4 is in the sourceforge.net/projects/bproc page, and you can get it from there and build it for your system.
