I have 2.4.x kernels working with bproc 3.2.6 with apparently no
problem.  You can get the patches from the bproc 3.2.6 for 2.4.22 and
fix the rejections, it didn't appear that big of a deal.  Or I have a
patch against 2.4.24 vanilla here:
