Hi, I have the same problem -- /etc/nsswitch.conf reads: hosts: files bproc dns and /etc/hosts does not contain something nasty. Unfortunately downgrading beonss is not possible (I guess) due to /bpfs related changes? With bproc 3.2.5 and beonss 1.0.12 (or 1.0.20) node-resolving was possible with "nX" and ".X" (verified as I was not sure anymore) but with 4.0.0pre3 and beonss cm1.1 only "nX" seems to be possible (X=-1 ... <max-node-number>).
