[BProc] pvm with bproc 4.0

Hi,

Trying to get pvm 3.4.4 working on bproc 4.0.0pre3-1.  Having a problem
where I cannot start the pvmd.

[pvmd pid7301] 12/18 13:59:50 master_config() .-1: can't gethostbyname
[pvmd pid7301] 12/18 13:59:50 pvmbailout(0)


I assume that the ".-1" is the master node, but I don't know why it
should be trying a DNS lookup on that.  I'm going by the directions
in Readme.Beoscyld in PVM 3.4.4.  So my PVM_ARCH is BEOSCYLD.
