[BProc] Updates to Clustermatic 3 CD

I want to apply the updates from broc.sourceforge.net to my Clustermatic =
3 CD installation.  Newer versions of beoboot, bproc, and cmtools are =
available.  However, they are not packaged as RPMs.

I un"tar"ed cmtools and did a "make", which worked.  Now I want to get =
the files moved where they belong (with soft links setup) and have the =
RPM database updated to reflect the new version.  I see a .spec file =
that looks like it has the information -- how can I make use of it?

1. What commands should be used to apply the updates to an existing =
Clustermatic 3 installation?

2. What order should the updates be applied and tested?
