I thought I'd mention to the group - I did an install of Clustermatic over Red Hat 7.2, and things went well, up to the point where I tried to make MPICH work. Clustermatic is very nice and simple to install, by the way. I understand from the list archive that the patches to make the latest bproc work with MPICH aren't out yet... is there any software someone could recommend to bang on my new install? I can locate some MPI based code, but I can't seem to find much written to just use bproc to distribute work. I want to make sure my setup works properly before I make it non functional with my own code =) Erik Green PS: My lab cluster is a surplus shop special - 4x Ppro 180, 64M each, 100mbit switch, linked to a 1.4Ghz athlon on the front end. Total cost not counting the athlon is about USD 260. -- Erik Green er...@gr... |
