It would be very useful to click on bpmn files in the o/s folder browser and have them open in the viewer or editor.

On most platforms (windows, mac, linux) this is achieved by having the filename as the first parameter, with any options beforehand, and then adding an entry (using system APIs) into the user's registry (or equivalent).

It is a complete pain to need, within the app, to navigate the folder heirarchy to find the file you want to open within the file open dialogue.

Drag & drop onto the editor window would be an improvement on the current situation, but proper dekstop integration is better.

This feature is already implemented. Just drag & drop the file onto the current opened diagram window.

Hi,
i really would like to see yaoqiang being the standard application for bpmn files. We could then open Yaoqiang from within our document management system.

IIRC there is a call with parameters when using the jar file. But how about the exe file?

Hi Alex,

Did you mean the exe version of Yaoqiang? This exe file can only be used in stand-alone mode. If you want to interact with other system, please use the jar version of Yaoqiang.
