#198 Bpalogin under gentoo 1.4

I'm trying to run bpalogin under gentoo 1.4, it seems
to be working so far, however there a few things that
need to be fixed/modified to work under this distro
since i've hacked out half the scripts lines.

-Install script fails on liveCD system: I must have
been missing appropriiate archiveing tools or somthing,
strangely i could untar the tailed file fin manually.
And it worked fine once I boioted into a real version.

-Install location for script is bad. Gentoo appears to
use /etc/init.d/ instead of /etc/rc.d/init.d/ to store
its rc scripts.

-/etc/rc.d/init.d/functions is /etc/init.d/functions.sh
I think...
-I can't the network file or the ${NETWORKING} variable
yet, so those bits are commented out.

-killproc is nonexistant, who knows what the gentoo
equivalent is.
-status is nonexistant...but there is a replacement
that the other rc scripts use somehow (i haven't
figured that out yet)

So basically I've got it starting, (with no [ OK ]
thingy) and thats about it, but i can connect to the
net so all is good.
