Bowser.GG:
AnEvilYak suggested I try building both with the stock BeOS tools and with GeekGadgets. It crashes the same, either way. I feel bad about not reporting this earlier but I don't use Bowser regularly and when d41 was released I figured it would be unstable. Now, everyone seems to think Bowser is stable, so this show-stopping bug still existing seems weird.
Nothing is weird or unusual about my system. It's a plain vanilla dual PII Ming Special. I'm going to try this on a different x86 at work later this week if I get some time.

bowser runs fine without -r -s?
have you tried renaming Bowser_Settings in ~/config/setting s?
