Balance of the Planet (2004) / News: Recent posts

This release is still in pre-alpha stage.
40 images have been included plus a french translation and some bug fixes and design improvements.

I am pleased to announce the first official, open-source release of the project "Balance of the Planet 2004", a complete Java rewrite of a simulation-education game by Chris Crawford.
The goal of the game is to 'play' with environmental factors of planet Earth, to look at the results and to try to manage a correct balance.

This release is only a pre-alpha release (not yet feature-complete) but it works (in text mode or with a bare Swing GUI) with the whole original system and equations completely recreated.
