Hi Richard, I am reading the Botix-howto and have got a few remarks: In 2.2, you tell about a small seperate controller etc. Perhaps it would be better to tell that that is an example-setup, because it contradicts with the fact that it should also run on a single processor. in 3.2, you speak of Winavr. For Linux, one needs to install avr-libc binutils-avr gcc-avr In 3.3, there is no mention of Linux. (Essentially the same, except for the c:) 3.4: I'll maintain the DOC++ documentation, so there is not really a need to install this for other developers. (made a small script) R/W access to the www pages directory is needed on the SF server. 4.1: Perhaps we (read: you ;) ) should create a Hello World function that can be uncommented to test the setup of new users. Global: Excellent piece; most impressed. Clear explanation of Subsumption and the place of Botix. BTW: The page was locked when I tried to access it; seems that you closed the browser window while editing.. :) Greetings, Ger. |
