As many people I have this problem when I use the interface of BorCvs with delphi5 (for commands : commit <file1> update <file1> and Commit... if I don't chose to commit all files). The command generate with interface is "cvs.exe -F [.]/45555.tpm E:\Test\Unit1.pas" and the error is "absolute pathname 'E:\Test' illegal for server". When I launch this same command line in "E:\Test" the same error appear. But if I test the line "cvs.exe -F [.]/45555.tpm Unit1.pas" it seems to be good. I think that the problem come from the construction of the command. It's the reason why I search information about the source code. I think that the construction of the command must be in the file "TRunCvsFrm.cpp" ? The function (Method) "Run" execute the command and display de windows of results ? or I have not understand this part of program. ( TExtProcess *cvsprocess = new TExtProcess("",cmdline,FWorkingDirectory, epmPlainText,PreferencesFrm->IsNtCvs(), outputcontrol != NULL ? outputcontrol->Handle : 0); try { while (!cvsprocess->Done) { Sleep(10); Application->ProcessMessages(); if (FAborted) cvsprocess->Terminate(); } ) launch the process associate to the command ? ! Important ! : "cmdline" contains the command to execute ? If it's right I find something strange in the source file "TFilesFrame.cpp". Line 55 in function "GetFilePath" which help in the construction of "cmdline" : "item->SubItems->Strings[6] + item->Caption;" item->SubItems->Strings[6] is not relative with path but with Conflict. item->SubItems->Strings[7] is relative with path ? (see line 456 of "TFilesFrame.cpp" case 0: caption = "Name"; break; case 1: caption = "Revision"; break; case 2: caption = "Options"; break; case 3: caption = "Status"; break; case 4: caption = "Sticky Tag/Date"; break; case 5: caption = "Date"; break; case 6: caption = "Conflict"; break; case 7: caption = "Path"; break; ) I don't know if my interpretation is good or if I am tired :-), please say me if I'm in the right way or no. Good night. (Excuse for my poor english) |
