boox is a very simple Java API for double-entry book-keeping. Data is stored in a SQL database - boox has been developed and tested with postgresql, but should work with any other SQL database for which a jdbc driver is available.
So we've decided to up this thing from alpha to beta. It works for us, mostly.
It's got some new features - mainly the ones that were most obviously missing in 0.3 alpha.

boox 0.1 has been released. It provides basic double-entry book-keeping in multiple currencies with an easy-to-understand object model including Transaction, Account, Ledger and Journal objects.
