Boox 0.4.1 Beta Released

boox: version 0.4 beta released

boox is a very simple Java API for double-entry book-keeping. Data is stored in a SQL database - boox has been developed and tested with postgresql, but should work with any other SQL database for which a jdbc driver is available.

So we've decided to up this thing from alpha to beta. It works for us, mostly.
It's got some new features - mainly the ones that were most obviously missing in 0.3 alpha.
Try it now and tell us what you think.

First Public Release Available

boox 0.1 has been released. It provides basic double-entry book-keeping in multiple currencies with an easy-to-understand object model including Transaction, Account, Ledger and Journal objects.

Boox has been developed to support virtual currency operations, e.g. to support non-cash payment systems within social networks.
