First - thanks for putting this together. It's a brilliant little thing! I'll need to update Firefox to a newer version though. Do I have to go through the whole remastering process, or can I slip a binary into the .dsl file? Will that even work properly? I know remastering is probably more effecient, but installing the cloop stuff on my Gentoo box requires a kernel recompile (!) and I really would rather not at this point.

You would most likely have to remaster in order to update the current version of Firefox. You could try using a pre-build .dsl package from the Damn Small Linux website but there's no guarantee that will work.
