Bootchart 0.8 Released

Bootchart is a tool for performance analysis and visualization of the GNU/Linux boot process. Resource utilization data and process information are collected during the boot process and can later be displayed in a PNG, SVG or EPS encoded chart. More information and sample charts are available at:

Version 0.8 greatly improves the boot logger. External tools (such as top and iostat) are no longer used, as all data are collected from the proc file system directly. The installation procedure was also streamlined.
