This DIY os from the creator of Anitaos is for 1st generation pentiums and maybe 486's. Follows the same kitset approach as Anitaos. This os however is designed for older hardware that other os's won't run on and is based on Puppy Linux Fatfree 2.17 an absolute barebones iso and I provide what you need to make your own system. Uses kernel 2.6.25.7.

A cross between Vector/ Slackware Linux packages and Slacko Puppy Linux 5.2.97 Good on old and newer pc's 2.6.37.6 smp kernel. Building block DIY style like AnitaOS. News Flash Revised iso now gnomemplayer fully working inbuilt and now has deadbeef inbuilt instead of xmms so no extra downloads to make these work. Menu entry maker now part of install to edit menu. DAZOS (For Machines 6-10 Years old)
This Distro is following a minimalism approach and will try where possible to use self-contained programs and is using Lucid Puppy Barebones 5.25 RETRO for its base suitable for old hardware and slightly newer. Has the added advantage of allowing the install of Ubuntu .deb packages. Has 2.6.30.5 kernel. SDL Libraries included now. Download iso from Anitaos2 iso folder.
