Fre.ac currently looks understated and antiquated, not up to its capabilities from the esthetics. Please switch to a more modern look, maybe a standard Windows look that would allow window snapping and use of themes and the like.
agreeing with him, IMHO he definitely has a point.
If possible, it would be very much appreciated if you could change the fre:ac Windows GUI to use the latest Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and change to a native Windows look to make it look and "feel" better.
And please don't forget to use the new "Display" text formatting mode, like described over there for example (TextOptions.TextFormattingMode="Display"):
Porting fre:ac to another GUI framework would be a huge amount of work that I'd rather put into improving functionality.
Also, switching to a Windows-only technology like WPF would sacrifice fre:ac's portability (Linux, OS X and other OS support).
I plan on making some improvements to the GUI after fre:ac v1.1 is finished. Support for themes is an option I consider, but it won't be available in the near future.

Sorry, I won't do that.
