More quality settings for OGG Vorbis

I know typical Vobis quality settings is 1-10, but I really like being able to
change the frequency response. I have been using oggdropXPd, and I like to set
all my songs to level 10 with a frequency response of 48kHz, I just prefer it
    that way.
It would be nice if you added more options like what oggdropXPd has, in fact
I'm pretty sure that program is open source, so wouldn't you be able to look
    at their source even?

Anyways, I don't think it would be too hard for you to add, and more option
    for encoding is always better.

If you add this I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

The frequency settings of oggdropXPd are not Vorbis encoder settings, but
control DSP processing before the signal is actually handed to the encoder.
fre:ac v1.1 will have a DSP infrastructure that will allow similar settings as

It's not clear to me, however, if by "frequency response" you mean a lowpass
filter at 48 kHz or a sampling frequency of 48 kHz. The former will have no
effect unless the sampling frequency is above 96 kHz. The latter will degrade
quality of regular 44.1 kHz sampled music due to aliasing. So you probably
    should do without those settings.
