Jitter Correction

  • Nobody/Anonymous

    Hi Robert

Is there any error logging when ripping; specifically, does Bonk tell you if it is encountering Jitter? if not, how do you know if you need to activate Jitter Correction?

    Thanks, Simon

Hi, there is no error logging in BonkEnc yet. So you cannot know for sure if there is jitter in a ripped track.

Iif you want to be on the safe side, you need to activate jitter correction all the time.

Hi. This is an old post, but this is exactly my question. Has this been
resolved? Is error logging now available?

Background: I just tried the newest fre:ac version and I like it a lot.
However, I have one question: when I rip a CD, the songs disappear from the
joblist once they are ripped. But there seems to be no feedback about error or
jitter. So, is there an error log or a summary after the rip has finished? In
CDex the joblist stayed visible all the time and after a song had been ripped
it displayed a "OK" or "Error" message after each song.

I too would appreciate optional error logging. On that matter, a terminal showing the output by the selected encoder/ripper would be nice as well.
