A few months back it was discovered that ifenslave would not work
with the bonding driver in the then current 2.6.14 kernel, giving the
>kernel: bonding: Error: to use IEEE 802.3ad Dynamic link aggregation
>mode, you must upgrade ifenslave.
Is this still true? Is ifenslave's days over and is it is necessary
to use sysfs (along with the sysfs patches, which apparently are not
in 22.214.171.124 or 2.6.15.rc2) to configure bonding?
(I'm using mode alb. I stayed back on 2.6.13 and bonding oopses
occasionally, which I am assuming is an issue since fixed.)
