After enabling bonding via the following commands
ifconfig bond0 192.168.1.250
ifenslave bond0 eth0
ifenslave bond0 eth1
A call to ifconfig will fail after displaying the bond0 info.
After bringing bonding down with 'ifconfig bond0 down' and
giving eth0 and eth1 unique IPs, ifconfig will fail showing no
I am using a redhat 7.1 system, I have rebuild ifconfig (net-tools-1.60)
against the new kernel header(I verified /usr/include/linux and
were actually links to the current kernel src), this had no noticeable
on the problem :(

What does it show for the bond0 info? Also, what does it show in
