I am using Ubuntu 8.04 and kernel 2.6.22.19 on our servers. I need to add redundant networking in our 10 Gb network and I setup bonding with dual port NICs. Unfortunately when I do this our performance takes a hit which we suspect is caused by the fact that the bonding driver does not allow us to turn segmentation offload on (tso). Does anyone know if this issue was addressed in later versions of the kernel?
