I'm building this firewall setup and I want to use vlans and aliasing. These seem to work fine but ifconfig truncates the interface name to 9 chars and thus I can't differentiate my interfaces while troubleshooting because:
bond0.100:0 and bond0.100:1 all apear as bond0.100
so I was thinking about b0 instead of bond0?
how can I do this?
