I am settings up bonding on my Centos 4.4 server and was trying to determine the best mode to use. My goal is to have the network HA and to be able to use the aggregate speed of the two nics. My switch supports both tradition trunking and LACP so I should be able to use any of the modes offered by bond. Does anyone have a suggestion on what would be the best choice. This network is used for backups so it will be transferring large amounts of data.
Thanks for your help

I thought I should add that both nics are plugged into the same switch.
