Dear all, I have completed the first part of microtonal scale processing in BP3. Enclosed are examples in just-intonation and equal-tempered scales: 1) a "tryScales" phrase in which you can hear beats in equal-tempered chords 2) the "vina3" example which is way better in just intonation, even if the actual ratios would be subject of discussion, as it is the case in Indian musicology since the day I created a melodic movement analyzer ;-) I am enclosing the equal-tempered examples in this message and the just-intonation ones in the next one. For me it's a great achievement. :-) The second part will be an implementation of the "_scale()" performance tool to change the choice of scale. I like it! Bernard |
