Yes, I think that this is a great idea! I see there is already a brand
new WordPress site at bolprocessor.org! :)
I'm sorry that I didn't see your message yesterday as I might have been
able to save you the hosting costs. I can host an unlimited number of
domains with my Dreamhost account at no additional cost. So, if you
ever want to move the site to my hosting service, that would be possible.
I am very familiar with WordPress too. I have developed about 6 sites
using it including customizing the PHP templates for several sites. If
you are willing to provide me with a user account on the new site, I can
help with moving over some of the info from the Sourceforge site.
Will you be able to add an SSL certificate to the new site without any
additional fees? Let's Encrypt offers free certificates.
