Since you are getting image and sound at the moment, you may try the 
last procedure: importing a MIDI file into a sound-object.

See "Create or replace MIDI codes loading a MIDI file..." at the boootom 
of the page. Click "Choose File", select a file, then "send". You can 
try this Xmas song which I uploaded as "this_song.mid" because it has 
various instruments and several tracks. I am confident Windows will play 
it correctly.

Then change its duration, for instance down to 7 beats to play it 
faster. Other buttons suppress evenst such as pitchbend or volume but 
that's not audible on this file.

Now we can move to more constructive tasks :-)
