Okay, now this is verified current state on Windows (after you sent the single file), I am on the right branch and commit history correct: I use the MAMP-Server and the bolprocessor folder is actually a child of the Webserver document root (and not linked in) I get this now: ---- Forbidden You don't have permission to access /bolprocessor/php/..olprocessorC:UsersschueSitesolprocessorctests/-mi.abc1_l17f78gc0u0dn0k1aq4rsvttls_tempcycle2_codesmidicodes.txt on this server. --- There is more to it, as the path statement on Windows contains little boxes that indicate that there is some weird symbol in there, either a control character or an exotical symbols for which no font is present. These symbols disappear during a copy paste from my windows machine (Remote Desktop) to my Mac... So something really weird is going on there now… But sorry, I can’t try to understand it during the remaining week, maybe you have an idea. I think that “display debug-messages”-switch you added the other day is a great thing. You might want to add much more debug messages in other places as well. As to Mac I think it’s better I don’t “test” on Mac, as my system configuration differs markedly from yours… I was comparing what was to be expected on a Mac and compare it to Windows, but better if I focus on Windows only for “reports"… Best .r. > On 31.
