Dear Bernard, I am - just for the fun of it - thinking of buying a “pre” intel Mac-Notebook… In order to get the “original” Bol Processor going, would I need Mac OS 9 or even older (?), or does it also run (fully) on the Powerbook G4 models with pre-intel OS X (like Tiger)? There are affordable ones on eBay (around 100$) with 1.67 GHz PowerPC 2GB ram and 80GB hdd - one could likely even fit in a ssd-stick with a cheap adaptor, which might make them rather fast with the original software. Best .r. PS: the 12 inch ones are little beauties, but they are comparatively pricey… And for BP it’s likely good to have some screen-estate, right? |
